Communication with Tournament Director
ALL communication please email Stephen.Poulos@townofcary.org. This helps provide a paper copy to all concerns, withdrawals, and changes. All withdrawals must be done via email.

Start Time
Play will be on Saturday and Sunday only for this tournament. Singles play will begin Saturday morning at 8AM and can go through to Sunday.

LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

What if I am listed as an alternate?
Are you an alternate? Want to play this weekend? Play the March Indoor L5 at Barber Park in Greensboro ID# 700077418 What to do. First, contact the CTP TD (e-mail) to remove you from the alternate list. Players must remove themselves from alternate list first (or player will be subject to suspension points for being signed up for two tournaments on same weekend without approval in writing from both TDs). Then proceed to this link & register for the tournament. The deadline for other event is Monday February 26th at 11:59PM. There will be not be a dependent draw for this L4 tournament.

Player's Responsibility
* It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know their next match time and show up in a timely manner * Check website OFTEN for updated match times. * ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS * All Players should report 30 minutes prior to EACH match through out the tournament.

8 & Under Event and Start Time
The 8 & under division will be played Saturday March 3rd: START TIME 1:00 PM. Players and parents need to meet at the quickstart courts. Matches will be a Round Robin format and played on the 36ft courts with Wilson Red Balls. Players are required to use racquets that are 23in or shorter (all racquets will be measured at check-in). Serves must go diagonally into the correct box. First serves must be hit out of the air into the correct service box, second serves can be hit off of the bounce still into the correct service box. Scoring will be 2 out of 3 games to 7 points, win by 2 points. Players will serve two points each. A change of ends will occur after each game.

Withdrawals and Refunds
There are no refunds for players who withdraw after the selection process.

Draw Size
Each draw will be limited to 16 players with a Feed in thru Quarterfinals (FICQ); with a 3/4 playoff match.

Selection Process
Players will be selected based on the most recent published NC standing list. Players must have some standing points in order to be considered to compete in a NC L4 tournament. If players do not have a standing, they should compete in a NC L5 event. The names of players who have been selected will appear as "Competitors" after the tournament deadline when selections are made. Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot participate.

Outdoor only tournament
This will be an outdoor court only tournament. The indoor courts will not be used at all for this event.

In order to truly enjoy the sport of tennis, it is essential to display good sportsmanship which includes abiding by the rules, playing fair, and showing respect for your opponent. IMPORTANT - READ FULLY
You are responsible for all the information on this page. You should review all of it thoroughly. The draws are tentative and may change due to weather, withdrawals, defaults, administrative error, etc. You will not be contacted due to changes. You should review the draws often particularly before leaving for a match to be sure nothing has changed. It is important that matches stay on schedule. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time for travel. The tournament phone number is my mobile phone. I cannot accept calls during the tournament to provide directions etc. Other tournament related calls are acceptable. You may also use text or email. The site will be updated regularly throughout the event. If you have access to a mobile device you can use that to check draws and see results. All times have been posted. If you have questions please use email if possible.

Definition of Dependent Draws
Dependent Draws: for Level 4 Tournaments that are not near a
Level 5 Tournament, and at facilities that have the court, With prior approval of NCTA
office. The top 16 players with standing
points will be selected into Level 4 draw, 17+ (not in top 100) will be placed
in a “dependent draw”, Level 5, also up to 16 players in standing order for
seeding. Players will earn standing points
for the event level they play

Directions from anywhere in N.C. to the Cary Tennis Park 2727 Louis Stephens Drive From northwest of Cary to Cary Tennis Park: From Interstate 40 East, take exit #278 on the right. Go 0.2 miles. Turn right onto NC -55 South. Go 7 miles. Turn left onto High House Rd. Go 0.1 Turn Left on Carpenter Upchurch Rd.
Turn right on Louis Stephens Dr. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park.
From south of Cary to Cary Tennis Park: On NC 55, cross US 1 at Apex and continue on NC 55. Go 6 miles. Turn right onto High House Road. Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd. Turn Right onto Louis Stephens Dr. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).
From southeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park: From Interstate 40 West coming into Raleigh, pass exit #301 and bear left onto I-40 West/I-440/Inner Beltline. Go 8 miles. Take exit #293A onto US 64 West / US 1 South (not north) Go 2 miles. Take the exit on the right onto Cary Parkway. Go 5 miles. Turn left onto High House Road. Turn right onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd. Turn right onto Louis Stephens Dr. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, February 25, 2018 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
