Tournament and Site info
The Trainer will be at Champions Club. The Stringer will be at Champions Club. GPS will open each morning at 7:30. Champions club will open at 7 AM, and McCallie will open at 7 AM. GPS and McCallie will be using indoor and outdoor courts. Directions to the sites and to practice courts are listed below. Champions Club is located inside Rivermont Park and there are 6 courts available for warm up on the right as you drive in before the baseball fields. Warner Park is the best place to warm up for GPS and for McCallie. There is no need to check in Friday if not playing doubles. You can check in for the tournament at the site where you are playing your singles.

Doubles info: The doubles draw will not close until Tuesday in case someone's partner does not get in, so you will have an extra day to find someone. You must find your own partner, we will not find one for you unless you email us and say you will play with anyone, then if someone is available we will put you with them. You must play doubles in the same age group as your singles. Your doubles site may be different than your singles, so check sites. There is a facebook page set up for all our tournaments to help people find a partner. Click on the link

Late entries
If you missed the deadline, you will need to email the director with your name, age group, and usta number, then I can add you to the bottom of the alternate list, if there are open spots then you may get in.

Draw size info, etc
Level 3 Tournaments will have to
balanced 16 draws created by using the waterfall method. Consolation will feed-in through the quarters
for 16 draws. Finish main draw but do
not play out consolation finals.
These tournaments begin with Doubles on
Friday not before 5:00pm. Singles start
on Saturday and finish on Sunday. These
are 2 -day tournaments with Doubles on Friday late afternoon.
Timeline
Draws,
seeds and times will be published 3:00pm Thursday before the Tournament begins.
Scoring
Format
Singles is
2 out of 3 tie break sets with match tie in lieu of a third set. Division
12-18. Doubles is a 6 game set with set tie break at 5 all.
Selection
and Seedings
USTA Southern office will provide the
tournament director with a Selection List for the tournament. These are the results from the most recently
publicized USTA Southern Combined Standing Lists in order in which the player
appears on the list. These lists are usually sent one or two days after entries
close. Seedings must done off the most up to date Standing list. In numerical order. With the two 16 draws, seeds will be done by
the waterfall method as well.

From Knoxville:
Take I-75 South to Highway 153/Chickamauga Dam/airport exit. Go 9 miles to
Hixson Pike South (just past Northgate Mall), then 3 miles to Lupton Drive. Turn
left onto Lupton Drive,
then right after 0.3 mile into Rivermont
Park. Keep bearing left,
following Champions Club signs.
From Atlanta:
I-75 North to Highway 153/Chickamauga

exit on Fourth Street.
Go to top of hill, take left across Veterans
Bridge (Georgia Avenue).
Proceed on Barton Avenue
for 1.4 miles, merging into Hixson Pike at wide left turn. Go 3.2 miles, turn
right onto Lupton Drive.
Go 0.3 mile into Rivermont
Park entrance. Keep bearing
left, following Champions Club signs.
To McCallie
FROM NASHVILLE or BIRMINGHAM: Follow
I-24 to the 4th Ave. exit; turn left onto 4th Ave.; go 1 block to 23rd Street;
turn right onto 23rd Street; go 0.4 miles to Dodds Avenue; turn left onto Dodds
Ave.; go 1.0 miles; campus entrance is on the right.
From Atlanta
or Knoxville Follow I-24 West take 4th Ave
exit(3rd exit after the 24-75 split) turn right at exit. onto 4th Ave.; go 1
block to 23rd Street; turn right onto 23rd Street; go 0.4 miles to Dodds Avenue;
turn left onto Dodds Ave.; go 1.0 miles; campus entrance is on the right.
To GPS
Take I-75 to 24 to 27N. Exit on 4th Street- sign posted to the Tennesee
Aquarium. Bear right and travel up 4th
Street- will go through several quick lights. Get
in left hand lane and turn left on Georgia
Avenue. Go across Veterans Bridge
and get in left hand lane again. Take the first left on Frazier, first left on Tampa, and first left on
River. Proceed straight ahead and drive into the courts. the total time from
the Interstate is approximately 5 minutes.
Practice Courts
To Brainerd
High School
From 24 East. Take Moore(N) Road
exit. At light turn left go straight several miles and Brainerd will be on your
right. From 24 West, take Moore
Road exit. Turn right at light go several miles
and courts will be on your right.
Warner Park Practice Courts From McCallie:. Turn right out of McCallie onto Dodds Avenue. Go to
next light and turn left onto McCallie
Avenue. A little over a mile on the right is
Warner Park which has courts.
There are 6 courts located inside Rivermont Park where
Champions club is located.
McCallie will have two courts open for warm up throughout
the day unless it rains
SITE TO SITE
McCallie to GPS: : Turn right out of McCallie onto Dodds Avenue. Go to next light and turn
left onto McCallie Avenue.
Continue until you run into Georgia
Avenue(2-3 miles). Turn right onto Georgia. Go
straight until you cross Veteran’s Bridge. At the end of the bridge turn left
toward Frazier Avenue.
Then turn left onto the first road, Tampa.
At stop sign turn left. GPS tennis courts will be straight ahead. Be careful
you are actually making a left turn into the complex, traffic from right has
right of way

light turn right onto Frazier stay in left lane and follow signs to
Veteran’s Bridge.
* Go
across the bridge.
* At the
light at the end of the bridge turn left onto E. 4th Street..
* 4th
street turns into 3rd Street. Go for about
2.5 miles Turn right on Glenwood and McCallie is the 2nd light
on left.
GPS to Champions Club: Leaving GPS take first right
and follow signs to Barton Avenue. Stay on Barton until you
make slight left onto Hixson Pike 3.13 miles Turn right onto Lupton Drive. Then turn right at next
road on Dixie Champions club is in back of park on left
