Did you miss the deadline and still want to play?? Please contact Bill Barber at babar68@aol.com on Monday and we will be accepting late entries until Monday evening. Please send me the age group you want to play and your usta membership and I will confirm with you the receipt of your entry. There will be a late fee of $5 added to your entry fee.

DOUBLES
The Doubles will all be held Friday afternoon starting at 5:00 pm. We will FINISH the dbls that evening. I will only have a draw for the field if I have 3 teams in the age group. I will combine where possible to create a draw.

Draw Size
Each draw will be limited
to 16 players with a Feed in thru Quarterfinals (FICQ); with a 3/4 playoff
match.

Play
will be on Saturday and Sunday only for this tournament.

Selection Process
Players will be selected based on the most recent published
NC standing list. Effective 1/2018, Level 4 (NC L4) for age groups 14U-18U (L4
12U players must have established tournament standing):
Player must have one of the following:
-Some NC/other state standing
-A verifiable player record, i.e. JTT, High School, Middle School, other
district/sectional rank
The names of players who have been selected will appear as
"Competitors" after the tournament deadline when selections are made.
Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot participate.

L5 Eligibility Information BG 12s-18s
Players will be selected based on the
most recent end of month's published NC standing list. Players cannot have standing in the top 100 in their respective age

Definition of “Waterfall” method of creating draws;
this option
is for Level 3 & L5 tournaments that are not near a competing Level 4 tournament,
and are at facilities that have the courts, with prior approval of NCTA office. Players will earn standing points for
the event level they play; In order of standings, Waterfall Draws:
Two balanced draws:
Red Draw; 1,4,5,8,9,12,13,16,17,20,21,24,25,28,29,32.
White Draw;2,3,6,7,10,11,14,15,18,19,22,23,26,27,30,31.

1. PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY
It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know their next match time and
show up in a timely manner. Check the website often for updated
match times. PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30 MINUTES
PRIOR TO ITS SCHEDULED START TIME. ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED
FOR LATENESS.
2. SEEDING
This tournament's seeding will be done in accordance with USTA
Regulations. They will be compiled and examined by the Head
Referee, Tournament Director, and members of the Tournament
Committee. Factors to consider in seeding (taken from "USTA
Friend at Court"): Seedings merely represent the Committee's
subjective ratings of the various players' chances of winning the
tournament. These ratings may not be based on whim, caprice, or
hunches, but instead shall be justified by a reasonable amount of
factual evidence, including, but not limited to, rankings, current
records, types of surface, and particularly head-to-head
encounters. Two outstanding doubles players playing together for
the first time should be considered for a place on the seeded list.
3. WITHDRAWALS
If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so
online. Click on "Edit Registration," then "Withdraw." You will
need your original confirmation number. All withdrawals after
"Entries Close" must be sent BOTH in writing via email (to the
Tournament Director's address above) AND by phone to the tournament
site. Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be
refunded the entry fee.
4. LIMITED DRAWS/EVENTS AND SELECTION PROCESS
Limited Draws/Events: Draws may be limited in some divisions. A
player may enter up to 2 divisions but not in the same category
(ex: two singles divisions) Selection Process: The top players
applying from the USTA/NC most current standings list will be
selected into the draw. The names of players who have been selected
will appear as "Competitors."
Draw size will be 16 players. Selection process will be used if more than 16 entrants. 10 and Under Draws will use 60 ft court and orange balls. 2 out of 3 Short sets will be played (first to 4 wins set, 7 pt tiebreak played at 4-4 for set). 7 pt match tiebreak will be played in lieu of 3rd set. 12 and Under Draws will use full court and green balls. 2 out of 3 regular sets with match tiebreaker in lieu of 3rd set. All other age groups will play 2 out of 3 regular sets with match tiebreaker in lieu of 3rd set. Wilson or Prince balls (8's and 10's and 12's) will be used in the tournament

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 30, 2018 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
