10u Court, Racquet, and Balls
Boys and Girls 10s Green Level 1 will play on the 78 foot court using Green Low Compression Balls. The racquet size is up to 29". Boys and Girls 10s Orange Level 1 will play on the 60 foot court using Orange Low Compression balls. The racquet size is up to 25”. The required scoring format for 10s singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets - NO Ad Scoring (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set.

WITHDRAW/REFUND POLICY
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline: Go to the Tournament website and click "Withdraw" in the "EDIT REGISTRATION" box on the right side of your screen. From there you can withdraw. If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself. You will lose the entry fee if you do not withdraw online before registration closes. Withdrawal After Entry Deadline: Immediately contact the tournament director to withdraw from the tournament. You must email your withdrawal. DO NOT call to withdraw. The email is ENTER EMAIL. There are No refunds if withdrawing after registration closes. Defaulting during the tournament: You must get approval from the Head Referee. Do not tell just anyone at the desk and think you have properly defaulted. Unless you speak to the Head Referee in person, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE!

FORMAT OF PLAY
All Singles draws (12-18) will play the best two out of three tie-break sets with a Match tie-break in lieu of the third set. DOUBLES Is a 6 game set at 6 games all a 7 point tiebreak will be played
The required scoring format, for 10's singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set. Doubles 6 game set NO-ADD scoring
*Short scoring may be used in the Main Draw to catch up after weather delays.

DOUBLES
It is very important to check your doubles status.You must register with a doubles partner. In Orange Level 1 Doubles, you will receive no stars or trophies. In Green Level 1 Doubles, you will not receive stars or trophies but you will receive Southern and South Carolina Standing points. Please check the Competitors List to verify you have the correct Doubles Status: --If you are showing correctly on the Competitors List, then you have nothing else to do. --If you have not signed up with a partner you will be randomly paired. DO NOT SIGN UP SOLO THIS IS NOT OK. NEW DOUBLES FORMAT APPROVED BY SOUTHERN FOR 2018 BG12-18s: All Doubles draws will be a 6-game set with ad scoring and a 7-point tiebreak at 6-all. Doubles players MUST play in the same division in Doubles as they were selected for Singles. BG10s: All Doubles draws will be a 6-game set with NO AD scoring and a 7-point tiebreak at 6-al

SEEDING AND SELECTION
Seeding shall be done using only the results from most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list. Doubles Seeding Criteria: Teams shall be seeded in the order of their combined standings (e.g., Player A holds the #1 standing and Player B holds the #10 standing. The Team of A & B would have combined standing of 11.) Teams that have the same combined standing shall be seeded by the by the highest singles seed of the four (4) players.

ALL CAMERAS (Still shot and video filming)
Prior consent of the parents of BOTH tournament players or the legal guardian acting on behalf of the junior players must be obtained before videotaping a player's match or photographing a player on court. This will be strictly enforced.

MATCH LIMIT PER DAY
BG14s - 18s may play no more than four matches per day [3 Singles and 1 Doubles OR 2 Singles and 2 Doubles OR 3 Doubles and 1 Singles] No one may play 4 Singles in one day. BG12s may play no more than three matches per day [3 Singles and 0 Doubles OR 2 Singles and 1 Doubles OR 3 Doubles and 0 Singles].

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, February 27, 2018 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
