WEATHER EXPECTATIONS AND UPDATES
Looks like the weather (rain) has been pushed back. I will post an update at 6 AM if there is rain. If there is NO rain I will NOT post anything so plan on playing at the scheduled times. IF there is rain I will post the expected delays at 6AM and updates every 30 minutes after.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather, alternate scoring or playing surfaces maybe used at the discretion of the referee. We will still try to play as many matches as possible.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
For players that are playing at Southeast Park and Woodland Park: Please bring extra chairs and also make sure to have a water bottle or container. We will provide some extra chairs for players and there will be water at check in desk for those facilities. We recommend using the restroom before going to those facilities. For people coming to Rockbridge: In the event the parking lot is full please park at the church parking lot at the top of Rockbridge Rd. It is a short walk and you can walk through a side gate located by the entrance to the neighborhood adjacent to the club.

Columbia, SC 29206 803-787-6141 To get to Rockbridge Club you MUST come to Rockbridge Rd through Trenholm Rd or Percival Rd Tournament check-in will begin Friday at 4:30 PM (we encourage all players to check in Friday if possible) Doubles matches will start Friday at 5:30 PM. We will play two rounds of doubles Friday afternoon Saturday morning check in opens at 7:30 AM Rockbridge all other sites 30 minutes before play starts We will play one more round of doubles at 8:00 AM Saturday then singles to follow Singles play will start 9:00 AM or 9:30 AM Saturday morning and two rounds will be played Pizza lunch will be available for players and parents at Rockbridge and Cayce Tennis Center Saturday at noon until supplies last Doubles will be finished Saturday afternoon Sunday check in will open at 7:30 AM at Rockbridge Sunday we will play two rounds of singles to finish the tournament

The 10U division Boys and Girls 10's will play on the 78 foot
court using Green Low Compression Balls and up to
29" racquet. The required scoring format for 10's singles matches,
shall be the best of two short sets - Ad
Scoring (first to four (4)
and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4
in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of

Please complete the form. This will allow you to be
evaluated by one of the qualified tennis scouts during this
event. You can also simply see one of the NSR scouts and you will be
scheduled to be evaluated. The evaluations are FREE and will allow you,
the tennis athlete, to better understand if you truly qualify to play
collegiate tennis.
These evaluations will be done by former professional tennis
athlete, Tim Wilkison. For those who know tennis, Tim Wilkison is no
stranger to the tennis world as he once stood as one of the top professional
tennis players in the world. Tim will be
scouting on site for this event.

HOSPITALITY
There will be bagels, orange juice, fruit, PB and Js station, and lemonade for the tournament participants at Rockbridge Club. Gatorade, sodas, snacks will be available for purchase in the Pro Shop. Alternate sites will have some bananas (until suplies last)

TOURNAMENT CHECK IN
All participants must check in at Rockbridge at least 45 minutes prior to their FIRST match. Check in at least 30 minutes prior for all other matches or if you are going straight to your site Saturday morning and we have your medical release form.

SITE CHECK IN
YOU CAN GO STRAIGHT TO YOUR SITE FRIDAY OR SATURDAY MORNING IF WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR MEDICAL RELEASE VIA EMAIL YOU CAN ALSO GIVE YOUR MEDICAL RELEASE FORM TO THE SITE REFEREE BEFORE YOUR MATCH AND THAT WAY YOU CAN GO STRAIGHT TO YOUR SITE. WE STILL NEED YOU TO COME BY ROCKBRIDGE AT SOME POINT TO PICK UP YOUR TOURNAMENT TSHIRT AND OTHER TOURNAMENT INFORMATION.

WITHDRAW AFTER ENTRIES CLOSE
If you need to withdraw from the tournament please email your request to rockbridgetennis@sc.rr.com This email must have a request to be withdrawn, reason why, players name, USTA #, and contact information. No phone calls please, we need written proof of your withdrawal. Thank you. Players withdrawing after Monday March 6,2017 at 5:00 PM will not be refunded the entry fee.

Pizza Lunch Saturday March 10 12:00 PM
There will be pizza available for tournament players and parents at Rockbridge Club on Saturday March 10 at 12:00 PM until suplies last. We will try to deliver pizzas to other bigger sites if possible.

SEEDING
Seeding shall follow the USTA Southern Section seeding
regulations and will be provided by Southern with the selection list.
|
ALTERNATES
It is the alternate's responsibility to check the website to see if your alternate status has changed. The tournament will contact you if you are selected to play in the tournament. You should make sure your contact information is correct on your membership profile and also when you register to the tournament. The tournament will not be responsible for a player not selected in the event the tournament cannot contact him/her due to incorrect or outdated contact information. Once an alternate is selected for play, payment is due immediately. Alternate report will be updated daily! On Site-Alternates must inform the Referee in person they are on-site. On-Site Alternates will be selected in the order of the Alternates List. On Site-Alternates should be on-site when their division checks in for play.

TENNIS BALLS
This tournament will be played using Wilson US Open Tennis Balls.
|
CONSOLATION
Consolation will be played according to the STA L3 format. The scoring format will be best of two sets with a 3rd set match tie-break in lieu of the 3rd set. We will have no extra draws

MATCH CHECK IN
Lateness will not be tolerated DEFAULTS WILL BE ENFORCED 15min AFTER YOUR SCHEDULED MATCH TIME UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN REST TIME BECAUSE OF YOUR PREVIOUS MATCH. Please try to check in on Friday if you are not playing doubles then Saturday you can go straight to your site. Be at your match site ready to play 30 minutes before your scheduled time.

STRINGING
Rockbridge will offer stringing service during the tournament with quick turn-around time. We have some Wilson, and Gamma strings in stock and we will string your racquet if you bring your own string. Please see Pro Shop for details.

Sportsmanship Responsibilities: All parents are encouraged complete the "Parenting My Champion" sportsmanship video before their player participates in this level tournament.

Please be aware that this tournament is a 10U Youth Tennis
Progression event. This means that in order to play in the 10U division offered
you must be in the corresponding level. If you are not able to register for 10U
