The temperatures this week-end at Bermuda Run are expected to be in the upper 90's. We will have ice water on all of the courts and and we'll be moving the benches to shade areas if possible. Please start hydrating yourselves today by drinking plenty of water.

DRAW SIZE
Each
draw will be limited to 16 players with a Feed in thru Quarterfinals (FICQ);
with a 3/4 playoff match.

Start Time
Play
will be on Saturday and Sunday only for this tournament.

Selection Process
Players will be selected based on the most recent
published NC standing list. Players must have some standing points in
order to be considered to compete in a NC L4 tournament. If players do not have a standing, they
should compete in a NC L5 event. The names of players who have been selected
will appear as "Competitors" after the tournament deadline when
selections are made. Contact us
immediately if you realize that you cannot participate.

abiding by the rules, playing fair, and showing respect for your opponent. We expect that ALL players who compete this

Directions From Greensboro: I-40 West thru Winston-Salem. Exit 182, turn left, go 1/4 mile and turn right. Go one mile and the BRCC entrance is on the left. Approx. 15 minutes from Winston-Salem.* Directions From Statesville: I 40 East towards Winston-Salem. Exit 180, turn right and go 1/8 mile. Turn left at light and continue one mile to BRCC entrance on right. Approx. 35 minutes from Statesville.

You must "opt in" during registration in the Event
Communications area. You may also do so
on your "My Tennis page" after event registration. FYI, Communication is limited to 30 days
after the close of the event and to only the players who have opted in.

Playing Surface
We will be playing on hard courts as well as playing on clay. Please remember that all players must be wearing flat soled tennis shoes. Players wearing cross trainers, running shoes or any shoe with a "nobby" sole will not be permitted to play on the clay courts.

Balls
Boy's and girls 14's - 18's will use Penn Tennis Balls - Boy's and girl's 12's will be using Penn Green Dot Balls.

Match Play for Tournament
Match play for 12's - 18's will be two sets regular scoring - If players split sets..a 10 point match tiebreaker will be played to determine the winner.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, July 16, 2017 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
