The rain has totally stopped but since there is no sun, it's going to take a while for the courts to dry. We are hopeful that the courts will dry by 12 p.m. First of all, doubles will be played after singles today. I will post doubles times after we start singles. We are on an official 3-hour rain delay from your posted match time. I will update you again at 10:30 a.m. to let you know if the courts will dry in time or if there is a further delay.

FRIDAY NIGHT DOUBLES/TOURNAMENT CHECK IN
Doubles for this event will start on Friday evening. There will be no singles on Friday evening. Just 1 or 2 rounds of doubles. We will have check in for the tournament at each site prior to your doubles match. If you are not playing doubles, you can check in on Friday or on Saturday morning. SEEDS/SPLIT DRAWS
Singles and doubles seeds will be made and posted on Tuesday, May 23 at 6:00 p.m. The players' list will be split into two groups of 16 and posted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24.
Seedingfor this tournament will be based on the latest southern standing at the time of entry closing. In addition, factors to consider are: Players with current top 50 USTA National standing, top 100 ITF ranking, top 1000 ATP or WTA rankings should be considered for seeding.

SELECTION PROCESS
Using the latest USTA/Southern standing list, the top 32 players applying from each age group will be selected by the Southern Section office. -- 28 players from the age group will be selected and up to 4 players from the younger age group that have a top 40 standing and are not in the selected 28. Selections will be posted at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 2. Each group of 32 players selected from each age group will be divided into two draws of 16 each. We will be using the waterfall system to make sure each of the two 16 draws are balanced by strength. A change to this process is that prior to splitting players using the waterfall system, the players selected from the younger age group will be place in their proper position based on strength. 10 & UNDER GUIDELINES
For all USTA Southern 10 and Under, Level 1-3 tournament play (not including Jr. Team Tennis), the required scoring format, for singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) for the third set. Doubles matches for 10 and under tournament play shall consist of a regular six (6) game set, with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 6-6.

10U Division:
The 10U division will be Green Level 1 within the new Youth Progression system parameters. Boys and Girls 10's will play on the 78 foot court using Green Low Compression Balls and up to 29" racquet. The required scoring format for 10's singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets - Ad Scoring (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set.

AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th finishers in all main draw events. Certificates will be awarded to the winners and finalists of the consolation rounds.

REGISTERING FOR TWO DIVISIONS
REGISTERING FOR TWO DIVISONS: Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: (1) Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They will be removed from the other age division. (2) Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternate’s lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alt. list. They will be removed from the Alternate list in the other division. (3) Players selected to one age division will be removed from the alternates list of the other division. (4) Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

ON SITE ALTERNATE
ON SITE ALTERNATES: "On Site" Alternates must register at their age group's tournament site. You can inform the Tournament Referee on Friday night or before that you plan to be an On-Site Alternate. Please make sure we have accurate contact information for you to be reached during the weekend. On-Site Alternates will be selected in the order of the Alternates List. On Site Alternates should be on-site when their age and gender check in for play 30 minutes prior to the first match in the first round.

ORDER FOR DOUBLES SELECTION
Players registered or not registered for the singles tournament can register for doubles. But please note that the selection for doubles is in the following order: 1. Teams with both players entered in the singles. 2. Teams with one player entered in singles and one alternate. 3. Teams with one player entered in singles and one player not registered for singles. 4. Teams with both players not registered for singles.

SCORING FORMAT
•12-18 SINGLES MAIN DRAW & CONSOLATION SINGLES = 2 sets with a third set match tiebreak. 12-18 Doubles will use an 8-game proset with a match tiebreak to 7 at 8 all. •10 & under Scoring. For singles, scoring shall be the best of two short sets (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) for the third set. COURT SURFACE
All matches will be played outdoor on hard courts.

REFUND POLICY
There are no refunds issued after the cut-off date. In the event of inclement weather and no matches are played, you will receive a full credit towards a One Love Tennis GA Level 4 tournament. Additionally if you only get to play 1 match due to inclement weather, you will receive a partial credit towards a future GA Level 4 One Love Tennis tournament.

There will be a stringer available at each tournament site either on site or on call.

PRACTICE COURTS
Practice courts will be available on Friday before doubles which start at 5:00 p.m. at all tennis Center. Practice courts will also be available from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday at all sites.

before the first scheduled match. Awards for 1st through 4th place
and consolation winner and finalist. Scoring for BG 12-18 - Main
Draw and Consolation (FIC): Best of 2 sets with a Match tiebreaker
in lieu of the 3rd set. Consolation final may not be played.
CHAMPIONSHIP - Open to all players regardless of ranking.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
