19th Annual Coquitlam Open

We have reach the end of our 19th Annual Coquitlam Open and we can say this 19th was truly "the first outdoor tournament of the year 2012"......Finals took place under hot sunny weather and the main event saw a fiercely fough match between two fine gentlemen...........Thanks to all the participants.......... and most important...A warm hug from their families to all the Mothers in this especial day.............your Tournament Director.......Sergio Garces

Friday semis and finals on Saturday/Sunday have been reshufle somewhat. Please check your matches every morning ,afternoon and night before going to bed.......see you at the courts

please check your schedule often and plenty of time before you leave from home

we are attempting a full schedule with a few holes due to colliding dates of players in two events and avoidances .I am sure of one or two that I have overseen...just let me know.....but NO more new avoidances please!

we are no part of the Summer Series anymore, therefore we are not offering price money and we won't be taking matches to any indoor facilities. We will be at the merci of our beloved weather and the tournament might be extended further than the original dead line.......If this notice change your perception of your participation, please don't feel bad about withdrawing. and what do you know!.....it seems like the weather forecast finally got it rigth, we sohuld have a nice sunny Sunday fill with glorious tennis.........see you at the courts

After a very stressfull Saturday we expect an easy Sunday as a reward for all those die hard player who endure the rough CTC Open.........see you at the courts !!

The courts are dry and play is proceeding. Some earlier matches have been cancelled and we are just about caught up and running around 15minutes late. Please phone before coming as the weather is borderline and rain could come very easily.

The courts are still not dry as of 10:30am but the sun has appeared and we hope to start playing matches at 10:45 am. All matches will be running about 1.5 to 2hr late. If you need to reschedule your match due to this delay please call the tournament desk 604-464-6718.

It's not raining but courts are damp. It will take approximately 1hr to dry. All matches are being delayed by 1 hr this morning! We will update the situation in 2hrs. NOTE: not all matches have been scheduled for Sunday yet... we are waiting for weather to settle down before we schedule remaining matches on Sunday.

It is now raining very hard at the club. WE UNFORTUNATELY WILL HAVE TO CANCEL ALL MATCHES AGAIN TONIGHT DUE TO THE RAIN.... ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUESTED TO PLEASE CHECK THE DRAW SCHEDULE FOR CHANGES AND UPDATES TO SATURDAY MATCHES.

and the worst scenario is reality. We are canceling all the matches for tonight Thursday May 3rd. Tonight matches will be added to Saturday schedules minus the avoidances Sorry for the inconvenience
