NIN Midwest Qualifier

Future Match Info Report

Match Start Times are now posted. We are on Central time. Same time zone as Chicago. Click on the Future Match Info Link to view your start time. The draws will not be posted until play begins Saturday. Each player will receive a copy of their draw at check in. Please try to check in to your first match 15-30 minutes early to receive you t-shirt, draw, and match card. All USTA lateness rules will be strictly inforced. Make sure you check what site you play at VU=Valparaiso University. VHS=Valparasio High School.

Warm up courts are available at Chesterton High School and Sand Creek Country Club. Both sites are available on a "First come - First Serve" basis.

The Qualifier is the Northern Indiana District Championship and is limited to NIN residents only. The "qualifiers" will advance to the Midwest Closed (The Midwest Championship). The Qualifiers are slected based on the results of each division. The (4) semi-finalists and the (2) consolation finalists are automatically selected. Alternates may be selected as well, based on ranking and/or results in the event.

All Matches will be 2 out of 3 full sets. In the event of a split a 10 minute break (with coaching allowed) is permitted between the 2nd and 3rd set.

Qualifier Seedings are based on the most current Midwest Standings List.

Due to ACT/SAT testing and Girl's IHSAA State the Boy's and Girl's 18s divisions will not begin until Sunday June 10. All other divisions will begin Saturday June 9 and scheduling excpetions will not be made. Please do not request special scheduling, in order to run a quality tournamemt players should all be available to play all day, each day.

Any player wishing to be considered for the District teams--G18. B18, B/G14's, B/G12's--please go to NIN website: northernindiana.usta.com The team competition will be held June 14-17. Download the application and submit to the NIN office. You can't be selected if we do not know you are interested.
