2012 IAAM Championships

Congratulations to all participants, especially Roland Park Country School, winner of the A Conference team title, and Mount De Sales, winner of the B Conference team title. See you next year!

Semi-finals set for 3 p.m. Thursday, finals 3 p.m. Friday.

The matches for Monday have been cancelled. All matches scheduled for Monday will now be played Tuesday. Those scheduled for Tuesday will be played Wednesday. Those scheduled for Wednesday will be played Thursday. And the finals, scheduled for Thursday, will be played Friday.

The draws and schedule are now posted. Please note that all first and some SECOND round matches are scheduled for Monday (at 2 and 3). The rest of the second round matches are scheduled for Tuesday (at 2 & 3). All semi-finals are scheduled for Wednesday starting at 3. All finals scheduled for Thursday starting at 3. All courts are open for practice a half hour before the first matches. Courts 16, 17, and 18 will be available for practice throughout the tournament. The concession stand will be open throughout the tournament selling fruit, drinks, bagels, sandwiches, etc., etc. USTA Officials will be on site and will enforce the Code of Conduct. Entries are due by 7 p.m. Thursday night. Draws will be posted as soon as possible, but cannot be posted until all entries are in, seeding is determined, and schedule made. Please have patience. For both the A and B conferences some first and second round matches will be played both Monday and Tuesday starting at 2 p.m.. All semi-finals will be Wednesday and all finals Thursday starting at 3 p.m..

Applicants and draws will be posted as soon as possible after entries are received. Be sure to check the draws, which will be posted here and updated daily, the night before each match to see if there are any changes. As was the case in 2011, not all matches in a particular round will be played on the same day - another reason to check the draws carefully. USTA officials will be on site daily. Also, the Stowers will be running the concession stand, with sports drinks, fruit, snacks, burgers, fries, etc., etc. For 2011, All B Conference 1st rounds were Monday, all semi-finals Tuesday, all finals Wednesday. The A Conference 1st round were played on Monday. SOME 2nd round were on Monday, some Tuesday. All semi-finals Wednesday. All finals Thursday. The same may be true again for 2012. First round matches will probably start at 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday (with second round matches to follow as courts open). All matches will start at 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
