Hi Parents and Players, All Singles draws are now updated to reflect new start times and possibly new locations for everyone's matches today and Sunday following suspension of play yesterday around 5:00pm due to rain. Please remember to continue to check these notes and the draws to find any other updates throughout the weekend. We have now officially cancelled all matches for Friday Evening. See new start times below. Alll morning matches scheduled for Saturday morning will be on a four and half hour delay tomorrow from Saturday's original start time. If you were scheduled for 7:30 am on Saturday you will begin play (hopefully) at 12:00 pm. All additional Matches will begin 4.5 hours from your original morning start times. All Friday UNFINISHED 4:00 pm matches will begin at their same locations at 7:30 a.m. All Friday 5:15-545pm matches will begin at 8:00 a.m. at their same location. All 6:35- 7:15 pm matches will begin at 9:30 a.m. at their same location All 8:00pm matches at Brookview Only will begin at 10:00am at their same location. All players please report and check in only at your playing site 30 minutes prior to your start time. Please do not check in at tournament headquarters unless you wish to do so after your match - you may check in any time later to receive your tournament player gift. thanks again for your cooperation and patience with the weather. We will give you all maps of the locations for the entire three day tournament. Below are directions to GVTC and also to all of our facilities being used during the tournament. Hello Players and Parents, All Singles draws are now posted. Everyone please remember to check in at least 30 minutes prior to your first match start time at the Golden Valley Tennis Center at Brookview Park. All players will receive a tournament t-shirt as well as Map location and direction information for all tournament sites used this weekend. We are plannnig to finish all Singles final rounds early Sunday morning. All Doulbes play will begin after Singles matches are concluded on Sunday. We will plan to start doubles at either 11am or 12pm on Sunday and continue throughout the afternoon/ evening If you wish to play doubles and have not signed up yet, please email dnabedrick@twincitytenniscamps.com by 9pm Wednesday evening. Doubles is free ( no additional charge) to all competitors, and if you wish to play but do not have a partner we will assign a partner to you after you have signed up. All Doubles draws will be posted on Thursday evening at 6pm. We have a total of 158 competitors in this "international tournament" with 13 players from Canada as well as many other players from around the United States. Let's hope for a great weekend of tennis and great weather. Please remember to recheck this website for your daily match start times, in the case of any changes due to weather delays or player defaults that may occur prior to the start of your match. We will try to notify anyone via email or phone if possible as well for changes as well. Hi Player's and Parents, just a reminder that doubles participation is free, and we will be happy to pair you up with a partner in doubles if you do not have one. Please email dnabedrick@twincitytenniscamps.com to sign up for doubles if you have not already done so. If you have signed up and wish to look at the list of competitiors to request a partner or contact a player to play with them please also do so. Doubles is a great way to end the weekend and we will begin doubles approximately at 12pm on Sunday and play the rest of the entire day. All doubles play is 8game pro sets. Remember doubles is a big part of high school and college team tennis and a great way to improve your overall game, plus it is a lot of fun to.... We have 150 players in our tournament this weekend and we are plannning on using 20 courts for the tournament. We are going to be playing all evening on friday from 4-10pm with lights, as well as all Saturday evening until 10 pm as well. Our goal will be to have all singles play completed by noon on Sunday. This is a modified feed in consolation format for singles - that means you can win and lose and still go back into consolation. We have players from all over the USA including, California, Arizona, Connecticut, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota as well as our Canadian Junior Development Team Coming all the way from Regina Saskatchewan to play in our event this weekend. Tournament headquarters will be the Golden Valley Tennis Center at Brookview Park, all players and parents should check in here prior to the start of their matches to get a free player gift for entereing. We will also be providing maps to all tournament locations upon check in at GVTC. All Draws will be posted on Wednesday evening at 6pm. Remember to please email if you wish to play doubles, we are going to finishing making all draws on Tuesday and will need all doubles teams paired up before then if possible. Boys and Gilrs 10 and under doubles will be combined into one mixed doubles 10 and under division. Plan to have all 10 and under play begin on Sunday or Saturday and Sunday if necessary.
