10 & Under Divisions
10 and Under's-Format will be two out of three sets with 3rd set 10 Point Tiebreaker if needed. All 10 & Under matches will be played with the “Green” Ball (or Green Dot Ball) on a standard sized 78’ court. There is no racquet restriction with this ball.

National Ranking on Tennis Recruiting
Due to the strength of the competitors in the 2011 Knowlwood Junior Open, this tournament in 2012 will be in a new class that will determine "national players" on www.tennisrecruiting.net. Heretofore a "national player" is one who has competed in a USTA Level 1-3 tournament or in one of the Sectional tournaments that count for USTA national rankings. Because of the reduction in size of many of the USTA tournaments on its national schedule, Tennis Recruiting is allowing several tournaments in 2012 to determine additional "national players" for its ranking system. This upgraded qualification is reviewed annually. All 2012 competitors in the Knowlwood Jr. Open iwll become national players on tennisrecruiting.net if they win a match in their event.
