TCTC- Babolat Junior Doubles & Mixed Doubles Shootout at Golden Valley Tennis Center -(Level 5)

Hello Players and Parents, We are now on a 1.5 hour rain delay, and hoping to get matches from 9:30 back on the court at 11:00a.m. If courts are not dry by 11am than we are planning to try and start all matches again at 12:00pm. The forecast for today does not look promising for the majority of the day. Hopefully there will be a of decent weather where we are able to get mixed doubles matches from this morning back on the court for awhile. If the rain does continue throughout the day all boys 12's and under doubles will be completely cancelled. Let' s cross our fingers and hope for some sunshine today. Hello Players and Parents, The tournament is completely cancelled due to the downpour. There are no signs of clear weather for the rest of the afternoon. We apologize for the inconvenience. Since multiple individuals have personal schedules for tomorrow, we will not be postponing the matches farther than today. I appreciate everybody's cooperation with the unfortunate weather. HI Parents and Players, We are really looking forward to promoting this event as a incredibly fun tournament for both boys and girls to participate in both doubles and mixed doubles together over the weekend. Hopefully everyone will gain more experience playing doubles that will certainly help them in high school, college, and possibly professional tennis competition eventually down the road. Just look at how Eric Butorac from Rochester is doing on the ATP Men's Professional Doubles tour, Kids, one of you could be next great doubles player from Northern Section. Please note that if you sign up for doubles you can also participate in mixed doubles as well. Please email dnabedrick@twincitytenniscamps.com if you would like to play mixed doubles but did not sign up online. We will encourage everyone to play mixed doubles and will be happy to pair up players if they have not yet already found a partner for mixed doubles. The boys and girls doubles will be a full feed in tournament and the mixed doubles will be a modified feed in draw and scoring will be two sets with a 10 point match tiebreaker played for the 3rd sets. If time permits on Sunday all mixed doubles matches will be best of 3 sets with 10 point Match Tiebreaker played for the 3rd set as well. If we only have Sunday afternoon to play the Mixed doubles some of the draws may be 8 game pro set draws This is a level five tournament, HOWEVER it is open to players of all levels during the summer months. We encourage LEVEL SIX players to definitely participate in the tournament if they would like to get more experience playing doubles and also mixed doubles as well. We will run all boys and girls doubles on early rounds on Friday evening,. Saturday for most of the rounds of matches ( mainly) and Sunday morning only if needed. We will run all mixed doubles on Sunday starting either in the morning at noon, depending on the timing of the boys and girls doubles finish. The pricing is the same for entering one or both events, and I will encourage everyone signed up to participate in both doubles and mixed doubles. please email with any questions or if absolutely necessary please call 612-600-2460.
