General announcements
Welcome to the Midlothian Athletic Club Wheelchair Open, the first tournament in the 2012 Truong Wheelchair Grand Prix series.
A special thank you to the Midlothian Athletic Club, VCU-Bertier Foundation, Richmond Tennis Association and USTA Virginia for sponsoring the tournament.
Please note that you will receive a $15 rebate if you register by Monday April 16th and additional $15 rebate if you participate in the Sportable Run/Roll Social on Friday May 4th. Food and cash bar will be provided. The rebate check can be picked up at the tournament desk when you register.
A special guest, Karin Korb, a Paralympian and former top wheelchair tennis player in the world, will be organizing the Sportable Run/Roll Social on Friday night. A silent auction will be held, and the proceeds will be used to support the Sportable/RTA wheelchair tennis program at Byrd Park, Richmond.

Tournament breakfast and lunch
Saturday and Sunday breakfast and lunch will be provided to tournament players by the generosity of the Cafe Caturra and Chick-fil-A Chesterfield Plaza.

Free massage returns by popular demand! Thank you ECPI massage students for providing this service. We hope to have massage on both Saturday and Sunday this year.

Player dinner
Please let us know if you plan to attend the player dinner and if you are bringing one guest. The dinner will be held at the Max's Positive Vibe Cafe, a non-profit restaurant dedicated to training and employing people with specil abilities. Since the dinner falls on May 5th, Cinco de Mayo, we are planning a Mexican dinner and a fun game organized by Kirsten and Bob Sell. Don't miss this opportunity for fun and prizes!!

You are invited to the "Have a Ball" celebration
A bonus! Richmond Tennis Association is designating May the Tennis Month and all players from May tournaments are invited to the "Have a Ball" celebration free of charge. The celebration will take place on Saturday May 12th from 4-7 pm at the Mary and Frances Youth Center on the VCU campus. Food, games, prizes and tennis. 120 South Linden St., Richmond.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, April 30, 2012 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
