DRAWS
Draws are now posted for all divisions.... the 10 & under divisions draws will be posted pending additional entries. Matches will begin on Sunday at 1:00pm for the 10 & under divisions. PLEASE NOTE ALL PLAY WILL BE OUTDOORS AT THE TOP GUN ACADEMY !! Address and location are listed below.

LOCATION
The "Swing into Spring" Championships will be held at the TOP GUN TENNIS ACADEMY (TGA on draw) in Louisville. This will be an OUTDOOR tournament. Due to the USTA Adult Leagues at the indoor clubs, we will not be able to move any of this tournament indoors in the case of bad weather.
Top Gun Tennis Academy 1800 Elite Drive Louisville, KY 40223 The address to use for Mapquest or GPS is 12906 Old Henry Road Louisville, KY. The Top Gun Academy is located only 5 or 6 minutes from The Tennis Club at Springhurst just off Old Henry Road and the Gene Snyder Expressway. Taking Gene Snyder South from Springhurst, exit off on Old Henry Road, take a right on Old Henry Road and you will see the courts about .25 mile on your right.

DOUBLES
Doubles will start first on Saturday morning. You must be registered with a partner by Thursday March 8th at 6:00pm. If you do not register with a partner online, email your partners name to topguntennis@earthlink.net. Thanks

10 & Under Divisions—Singles & Doubles
Beginning January 1, 2011, ALL 10 & Under tournament play in Kentucky (and Southern Section) will use the QuickStart Tennis Play Format. The following are mandatory parameters for all play in 10 & Under tournaments:
- Racket—up to 25 inches in length
- Ball—Orange Low Compression Ball
- Court—60’*21’ for singles, 60’*27’ for doubles
- Scoring—Singles—2 short sets to 4 games. At 4-4, a Set Tiebreak (first to 7, win by 2) is played. In lieu of a 3rd set, a Set Tiebreak (first to 7, win by 2) is played to determine the winner of the match. Doubles—1 no-ad set to 6 games. If the score reaches 6-6, a Set Tiebreak is played (first to 7, win by 2)
All 10s tournaments, including the Creason and Southern Closed, will use the parameters listed above. Players should be able to keep score, call their lines, and, ultimately, complete the match without a permanent court monitor.
