Midland Jr. Holiday Classic-Level 6

For ranking purposes this is a USTA/Midwest Level 6 tournament. Please click on the link above under 'Tournament Reports' to view first match times. There are no matches scheduled for Friday night. Players are asked to please register at the tournament desk at least 15 minutes prior to their first scheduled match on Saturday. This is a USTA-sanctioned tournament, and USTA officials will be onsite during all tournament play. The USTA Point Penalty System will be in effect, including Lateness to a Match. There is no grace period for being late - please give yourself adequate travel time. DRAWS will be posted on this site by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29. DRAW FORMAT will be First Match Loser Consolation (FMLC), and players who lose their first match will be entered into the consolation draw. All tournament entrants will be play a minimum of two matches, and will receive a very cool tournament t-shirt! Players are expected to play and complete all scheduled matches. SCORING FORMAT will be two out of three tiebreak sets, with a 10-point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a full third set. TOURNAMENT BALL will be the Wilson Extra Duty Hard Court ball for all BG18-12 matches, and the Stage One Green Dot ball for all BG10 matches.

If you need to withdraw from this tournament prior to the entry deadline, please do so on this site (under Edit Registration). ALL withdrawal requests after the entry deadline must be made in writing to Wendy Franz at franz@midlandtennis.com. Requests must include player name, USTA number, a detailed reason for the withdrawal, mailing address, and phone number. There will not be any refunds issued for withdrawals received after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27.

The Midland Community Tennis Center has a nationally-recognized full-service pro shop that offers stringing, racquets, shoes, apparel and other items. The pro shop will be open during tournament hours and expert racquet stringing will be available. PLEASE NOTE - Personal stringing machines are not allowed in the tennis center building.

If you want to enter a tournament that overlaps on any of the days of this tournament, you MUST request permission from both tournament directors. To request permission from this tournament, please email Wendy Frank at franz@midlandtennis.com. Players who do not get authorization from both tournament directors will be subject to 5 suspension points under the USTA/Midwest suspension point system.
