Paddy's Day Park City Junior Weekender

I have done my best to work around the MANY schedule conflicts I received from people ahead of time. For several people, there may still be a conflict several matches into the draw. If that is the case, we will work with you when the time comes if there is still a conflict. If you did not tell me your conflict ahead of time, and you now have a problem...please change your conflict! We have over 201 matches in this tournament and the courts are now fully booked - it is VERY difficult to change your match time now... Thanks, Laurie

The following divisions did not have enough players to make a doubles draw: Boys 10, Boys 18 and Girls 18. If you paid for these events, I will be working with Utah Tennis to get you a refund for this event.

The Park City Racquet Club was torn down in 2010 and has been completely replaced by the new Park City Municipal Athletic Recreation Center - we call it the MARC! We can't wait to welcome you to our new facility - we have beautiful new indoor courts with fantastic viewing for the public! Can't wait to host our first tournament at the MARC with this St. Paddy's Day Junior Weekender!

The 10 & Under division will have the option of playing in the Challenger Division - which will play on the 60 foot court with orange balls, OR play in the OPEN division which will play on a full size court with green dot balls. The OPEN division will play 2 out of 3 sets, the CHALLENGER division will play a reduced match format where they play one set no-ad scoring. We will attempt to start and finish the Challenger division all on Saturday.

Matches will begin Wednesday, March 14 at 4:30 pm. Not all players will have matches each weeknight. If you have a conflict with a particular night ...please send me an email when you register. I will not reschedule matches after the draws are posted!

All matches in the main draw for age groups 12 & higher will be 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring. Doubles will be an 8 game pro-set. Matches in the singles consolation draws will be 2 out of 3 sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.

Please be aware that players may be playing 2 singles and 1 doubles match per day over the weekend.

From the Salt Lake airport, follow directions onto I-80 EAST. The signs may say toward "Cheyenne". I-80 will merge with I-15 for a few miles and then split off again. Just keep following signs onto I-80 East. After you cross the Salt Lake valley, you will begin climbing Parley's Canyon. About 15 minutes up the canyon, you will take the Park City/ Kimball Junction exit. If you hit Hiway 40 - you have gone too far. When you take the Kimball Junction exit, you will turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Hiway 224. This is the main road into town. Stay on Hiway 224 for about 6 miles. After you pass the big white barn on your right, you will want the 2nd stop light. Turn left onto Holiday Ranch Loop drive. Follow Holiday Ranch Loop to the first stop sign and turn right onto Little Kate Road. The club is up on your left about 1/10 mile. Front desk phone number is 435-615-5400.
