Due to the weather, the tournament will move INDOORS TO BARBER PARK for ALL TUESDAY MATCHES!!! The tournament schedule will remain the same.
DIRECTIONS TO BARBER PARK
From Raleigh:
1.) I-40W. 2.) Take Bus. I-85 (keep right). 3.) Take E. Lee Street exit. Ramp off right. 4.) Right turn onto E. Lee Street. 5.) Left turn onto Florida Street at first stoplight. 6.) ½ mile Left turn into park. 7.) Courts are straight ahead.
From Charlotte:
1.) I-85N to exit 120 (sign says "to Business I-85N to I-40W"). 2.) Follow Bus. I-85 N. 3.) Follow to E. Lee Street exit. Ramp off right. 4.) Left turn onto E. Lee Street. 5.) Left turn onto Florida Street at first stoplight. 6.) ½ mile Left turn into park. 7.) Courts are straight ahead.
From Winston-Salem:
1.) Take I-40 E through Greensboro. 2.) Follow to E. Lee Street exit. Ramp off right. 3.) Left turn onto E. Lee Street. 4.) Left turn onto Florida Street at first stoplight. 5.) ½ mile Left turn into park. 6.) Courts are straight ahead.

FUTURES RESTRICTION
>This tournament is a Futures/NC Level 5 event. Therefore, players ranked too high are ineligible.
>IF YOU ARE INELIGIBLE FOR ONE DIVISION, YOU'RE INELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN ANY DIVISION FOR FUTURES TOURNAMENTS (i.e. If you are ranked 80 or higher in the Girls 12s, you are ineligible for the Girls 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s).

Boys/Girls 18s: Top 50 in state are ineligible for this tournament
Boys/Girls 16s: Top 80 in state are ineligible for this tournament
Boys/Girls 14s: Top 80 in state are ineligible for this tournament
Boys/Girls 12s: Top 80 in state are ineligible for this tournament
Boys/Girls 10s: no restriction

FORMAT AND SCORING
>Singles: Full Feed-In (through Quarterfinals). Unless otherwise noted, all singles matches play best-of-three sets with a 10-point match tiebreaker instead of a full 3rd set.
>Doubles: Single Elimination. Unless otherwise noted, all doubles matches play an 8-game proset with a 7-point tiebreaker at 8-games-all.
>Boys/Girls 12s: The 12s divisions for all Level 4 and 5 tournaments, beginning in 2012, will play on a 78' court using GREEN compression balls. This tournament will use the WILSON "GREEN DOT" BALL, which has a higher compression than the green/yellow ball.
>Boys/Girls 10s: The 10s divisions for all tournaments will play on a 60' court using ORANGE compression balls. Racquets cannot be longer than 25". Matches are best-of-three 4 game sets (win by 2, TB at 4-games-all), Advantage scoring, with a 7-point match tiebreaker instead of a full 3rd set. We will attempt to give all 10's players at least three matches.
>Co-Ed 8s: The 8s divisions for all tournaments will play on a 36' court using RED compression balls. Racquets cannot be longer than 23". Matches are best-of-three 7-point games. We will attempt to play the entire 8s division all in one day. Day will be determined when draws are released.

PLAYER’S RESPONSIBILITY
>It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know their next match time and show up in a timely manner.
>Check website often for updated match times.
>PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ITS SCHEDULED START TIME.
>ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS.
>This tournament has a lot of matches to be played, and there will be no exceptions for lateness (i.e. traffic etc.).

PARENT AND MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS
>The Parent Form and Medical Release is required by USTA/NC prior to playing matches.
>Parent or guardian must sign. Bring signed form with you to registration.

DOUBLES
>All Doubles divisions will try to start and finish in one day.
>If you do not have a partner, let us know, and we will try to find you one.

SEEDING
From USTA/North Carolina Seeding Criteria:
"Seeding shall be done using only the results from most recently published USTA/North Carolina Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list." Some special criteria may apply.

WITHDRAWALS
>If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online.
>Click on "Edit Registration," then "Withdraw." You will need your original confirmation number.
>All withdrawals after entries close must be sent BOTH in writing by email (to the Tournament Director's address above) and by phone to the tournament site.
>Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

IMPORTANT JUNIOR SUSPENSION NOTES
Please note the rules below pertain to ALL sanctioned North Carolina and Southern tournaments.
11. “A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments is scheduled to overlap unless each tournament committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing.”
12. “Player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament.”
What if placed on an Alternate List? There are two options:
1. Stay on the Alternate Lists in hope of getting into the tournament.
2. Withdraw from the alternate list so you can legally enter another tournament.
