THIS IS A COMPASS DRAW FOR SINGLES 4 MATCHES guaranteed IF WE HAVE FULL DRAWS. DOUBLES WILL HAVE FIRST ROUND CONSULATIONS. This is a Southern Level 4- Tennessee Level 2 ,- 16 draw compass

If you were not selected for singles you will not be selected for doubles,we did not want to charge you the full entry fee for doubles only. You will be able to play as long as the draw is not full just email us with your partner by Tuesday at noon.The cost of doubles only will be $25 . If you signed up without a partner please notify us before our deadline of Tuesday at noon or you will not be in the draw .

POINT OF NO RETURN It is your duty to notify us if you have reached the "point of no return" for travelling. We understand that some of you may not be able to come at a moments notice if a spot opens. Please be courteous and withdraw from the alternates list if you know you cannot travel. I have to contact alternates in order, even though it may be the night before the tournament . We cannot know someones intent until you tell us. As long as you are on the Alternates by Event Report, we assume you can still attend.

Regulation IV.A.2 now states "The referee may penalize a player who is on site for lateness if a court is available and the player has failed to check in at the tournament desk by the scheduled match time."

This means, if there is one open court at 10:00 and there are three matches to put on the referee will start the clock for lateness for anyone who has not checked in for the 10:00-- Even though there are not enough courts for all three matches.

1. The first matches of each will begin promptly at 8:00 please be checked in and on your court at 7:45.

2. For all matches after 8:00 , please check in at the tournament desk 15 minutes before your sceduled match tim,. do not wait until 9:59 to check in for a 10:00 match. PLEASE go to the bathroom,fill your water bottle,ETC before you check in.

3. Once you have checked in, please stay near the tournament desk until we tell you the court assignment. You must be where you can hear us call your name after you check in.

4.We will be watching the clock for lateness. please do not ask us if your opponent has checked in - you have other things to think about. The staff and the Referee will take care of lateness issues you need only to worry about your own timeliness.

ENTERING TWO (2) TOURNAMENTS - DO NOT DO THIS--- Do not enter two tournaments at the same time. How to avoid Penalties: If you end up on the alternate list,you must withdraw from the alternate list first and then enter the second event. Tournaments have different deadlines that will allow you time to make changes.

Entering Concurrent Tournaments September 2010 The USTA Regulations prohibit a player from being entered, when entries close, in two or more tournaments if any part of the tournaments overlap, unless each Tournament Committee understands the situation and concurs in writing. There are two exceptions to this rule on the national junior level. Both the USTA National Championships and the USTA National Opens allow for a player to enter more than one age division, however it is important to understand the consequences of this decision.

We will enforce "NO coaching, negative behavior,or harrasment of players at our events." We will not tolerate this behavior and Players will be CODED immediately if parents or coaches get out of line.

As a tournament Director,Coach and parent of tennis players, I ask you all to be good SPORTSMAN and praise all players for good behavior.

FACILITY RULES The Knoxville Racquet Club, CBRC and UT, uses conduct rules above and beyond those enforced by the USTA. Players participating in tournaments at the facilities identified are required to abide by these facility rules of behavior on and off of the court. These rules also apply to parents, coaches, siblings, and other guests of the players.

The list below indicates the Facility Behavior Rules:

No use of the word "suck" or any form of the word spoken or spelled. No use of anything rhyming with "duck".
No use of expressions of frustrations with references to deities (i.e. "Oh My God", "Jesus", "Jesus Christ", "Christ", "God") either spoken or spelled.
No use of "freaking", "frigging", or "fricking" or variations of such words either spoken or spelled.
No Smoking anywhere on the premises. Premises includes, bathrooms, and anywhere within 50 feet of a tennis court.
