Selection Process
This is a process used by the Junior Competition Committee to pick players for the MIDDLE STATES ZONE TEAM:
Selection of these teams is at the discretion of the Junior Competition Committee and will be determined by what is felt to be in the best interests of the section. The selection of our teams will be based on the published National Standings list followed by the Sectional ranked standings list published after the Level 3 Sectional Championship or thereabouts. No more than half of any team should be taken from the national lists of the age division in question. These are selections and would follow a similar appeals pathway as those who disagree with seedings. Please direct all questions about the selection process through the Middles States office and Michael Kennedy, Junior Competition--kennedy@ms.usta.com or 610-935-5000x226
