Ranking points. This tournament is open to all junior players. To
earn points, players must compete in their qualified age division
when offered. Open to Both Texas and Out of Section Players for
Juniors.
Welcome to the 1st Annual Roddick Foundation Kerrille Jr. Open
Tennis Classic! Tournament held in Kerrville, TX, about 66 miles
northwest of San Antonio, TX.
Monies raised thru this tournament will go towards helping the
Roddick Foundation youth tennis program. We look forward to seeing
you!
This tournament is the third phase of the ARF Point Series
Tournaments sponsored in part by Babolat. (The others are in Marble
Falls, Beaumont, and again at Fair Oaks..) The boy and girl who
earn the most total points in the 18s in the series will receive
wildcard entries to an ITF tournament in South America. All other
boys' and girls' division winners in the total series will receive
free one week during the summer at the ARF training center in San
Antonio. (Up-to-date points/standings and dates of summer training
will be posted at each tournament.)
Play in Kerrville may start at 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, if needed.
Otherwise, all play starts at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19. Please
check in at the tennis courts 30 min. prior to your match
time.

Events with fewer than 3 participants may be combined.
Consolation will be played in all events.

Recovery Rule - Effective Immediately
USTA has mandated that all full two out of three set singles matches shall offer a minimum rest period of two hours. A minimum rest period of two hours is not required for matches using shortened formats, matches using 10-point match tiebreaks in lieu of third set, and all 10 & Under tennis formats.
Super Champ Major Zone "B" Draws (Main & Consolation Draw) will use a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set.
Champ Major Zones (Main Draw) will use a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set through the quarterfinal round. Semifinals and finals will play a full two out of three set match.
Junior Other Tournaments: Depending on draw size the Tournament Director and / or Referee will determine the appropriate match format.
