Withdrawing from the Tournament
You may withdraw from the tournament and receive a Full Refund if I receive your withdraw by noon on Sunday July 15th. There will be no refunds after that time.

Friday Night Tournament Check In and Tournament Dinner
We will have the friday check in at Wood Park Community Center (1866 Highland Ave., Augusta, GA 30909). Directions: coming from I-20: exit I-20 at exit 196A and follow I-520 to exit 2 (wrightsboro rd) turn left onto wrightsboro road and follow 3 miles. You will pass Newman Tennis Center on your left, and go another mile to the corner of Highland Ave. The Air Port is on your right and as you turn it will remain on your right. Follow Highland Ave. for 1/4 mile and Wood Park Community Center will be on your left, before the Fire Station.
Check in and dinner will be from 5 to 8 pm. All players, parents and family, and coaches are welcome.
If you do not check in on Friday Night you must check in at Newman Tennis Center on Saturday at least one hour prior to your first match.

Withdrawing from tournament
Refunds: To receive a refund for the tournament you must withdraw prior to the draw being made. The draw will be made at Noon on Sunday the 15th at Newman Tennis Center.
If you have entered and wish to withdraw prior to the entry deadline please go to the tournament web page and click on Edit Registration. You will need your confirmation number that you received in your confirmation e-mail to complete the process.

Medical Release
A Medical Release is now REQUIRED prior to playing any matches. Parent or guardian MUST SIGN. Please click on more info to download this form and bring it with you to registration. You can find the form at www.gatennis.com under Junior Competitive Tennis.

Dress Code
The Tournament committee has set A dress code in this Tournament The Rules to which all participants are expected to adhere. These Rules are based on our community standards and all participants must observe, all rules, at all of the sites used during the tournament. Good manners on and off the court will be required of all participants, coaches and family at all times.
Proper tennis attire should be worn. For females, proper attire does not include, roll down waist bands on skirts or shorts, or exposure of skin between tops and skirts or shorts. For males proper attire does not include tank tops or sleeveless shirts, or shorts worn below the waist. Shirts must be worn at all times. Please respect our standards and adhere to our rules. Failure to do so will result in the player being required to change prior to the match. This delay may result in penalties (PPS) being assessed .

Balls used for Play
We will be using Wilson US Open Extra Duty tennis balls for Boys and Girls 12-18. B & G 10's will use Orange low compression balls.

Late entries
As of Sunday July 15 at Noon: Late entries will be accepted for the Alternate list only as the seeds have been published. We will not be able to accept a late entry if the player is seedable.
You will need to e-mail the Tournament Director the following information:

Three Minute Rule for Rest Period before Tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set

Withdrawing from a match or Tournament/Refund Policy (Weather)
A player shall not enter a tournament and then withdraw when the player discovers that tough opponents have also entered. A player may withdraw from a match or tournament only because of injury, illness, or personal emergency. A player who cannot play a match shall notify the Referee at once so that the opponent may be saved a trip. A player who withdraws from a tournament is not entitled to the return of the entry fee unless the player withdrew prior to the published refund deadline date.
In the event of inclement weather and you do not play any matches in this tournament you are entitled to a partial refund based on the fixed tournament expenses. Please understand that tournaments have fixed costs which include: Trophies, T-shirts, Balls, USTA Officials, and many other costs that we must cover. The tennislink portion of your entry fee is non-refundable in accordance with USTA policy. If you do complete a match there is no refund/credit. Thank you for your understanding.

Doubles Team Deadline Noon Monday July 16th
If you have signed up online for doubles we still need all players and their partners to follow the procedures below to insure that you and your correct partner are paired and are in the doubles draw.
Doubles will start first on the first day of the tournament. You must have a doubles partner submited to the tournament by NOON, Monday July 16thth. A contact list is available to assist you in contacting others if you do not have a partner. Please follow the directions listed below.

Please remember that we will NOT pair players to make teams. All players are responsible for finding a partner.

Play Formate and Scoring
Draws will play a Full Feed in Consolation through the Quarters and 3/4 playoff. Main Draw and FIC will be the best of three sets playing a 10 point match tie-break in lieu of the third set. In the event of inclement weather, match format is subject to change. Boys and Girls 10's will be played on 60 foot courts, using 25 inch racquets (only) and two tone orange balls and short sets.
First day schedule: Start with 1 doubles round 2 rounds of Main Draw singles and 1 round of Consolation. Day 2 schedule: 2 rounds of Consolation and 1 round of Main followed by doubles. Following days 2 rounds of consolation and one main draw. Doubles will follow singles.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, July 12, 2012 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
