BullFrog USTA Southern Section Designated

March 5, Monday. All main draw matches will play out a full third set. All consolation matches will play a match tie-breaker in lieu of the third set.

All Sites are playing. All Doubles have been canceled for the tournament.

Play is suspended for Saturday. All Sunday times will be posted online by 8:00PM Saturday.

Matches are being played at all sites. Only the first round Singles is being played Saturday. Doubles will resume on Sunday. Match times for Sunday for the 2nd round Singles and 1st round consolation are posted and 3rd round Doubles are posted..

Currently not raining , All 8:00AM matches should report to their 8:00AM site at 1:00PM. All first round singles are 5 hours delayed. Be prepared to help dry the courts. All Doubles are postponed until Sunday.

Doubles registration opens February 21 , and closes February 24 .

Must sign up in the age group you are playing singles.

Doubles play will begin on Friday evening with two rounds. ( It is an 8-game pro set, tie breaker at 8-all)

Be prepared to play doubles beginning at 5pm on Friday, though of course, not everybody will start at 5pm.

We do NOT partner players.

It is your job to find a partner, confirm the partnership, and then register by the doubles deadline, both partners must register and list their partner.

If you only are playing doubles, then the fee is $25.00, which is payable at the first doubles match

All players must have a Birth Certificate on file in the Southern office for proof of US citizenship. Green cards will be accepted, but passports will not. A file of those withproof on file is found more info

USTA SOUTHERN SINGLES SEEDING CRITERIA: Seeding shall be done using only the results from the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings List (Plublislhed List used for selections) of the division in the order in which players appear on the list.

Players who have a standing in the next younger age division MAY be seeded in any group of seeds if they are in the top 10 of the most recently plublished USTA Southern Combined Standings List of any youngre age division. Players selected into the 12s division based on there 10s standing will not be considered for seeding. Players with current top 50 USTA National standing, top 100 ITF ranking, top 10000 ATP or WTA rankings should be considered for seeding more info

64 Draw will have Full Feed In through the quarterfinals

All Main Draw matches will be best two out of three tie-break sets (new balls provided for the third set) Singles matches for 64 draw will begin on Saturday morning with finals on Monday.

All Consolation matches will be best two out of three sets with a tiebreaker in lieu of the third set (10 Points. The third set tiebreaker will be a match tiebreak played to ten points with a margin of two points. Consolation matches play one round on Saturday, three rounds on Sunday and three rounds on Monday.

The consolation will be a full feed-in consolation through the quarterfinals.

There will be a playoff for third and fourth place in the main draw.

ENTERING TWO (2) TOURNAMENTS - DO NOT DO THIS--- Do not enter two tournaments at the same time. How to avoid Penalties: If you end up on the alternate list,you must withdraw from the alternate list first and then enter the second event. Tournaments have different deadlines that will allow you time to make changes.

Macon, GA 31220 Take a right on to Northside Dr. Go about 100 yards and take a right on to Riverside Dr. Go 4/10 mile and turn right onto Wimbish Road. Go 1.5 miles, then take a slight left onto Forest Hill Road (Forest Hill Rd is just past North Minster Drive). Go 6/10 of a mile and turn right onto Vineville Ave. Go 1.5 miles, and then turn left onto Tucker Road. Go 2.6 miles and turn right onto Peake Road. Go 4/10 mile, and then turn left into the Academy. In matches without an official on court, players are expected to play by the CODE that is found in the Friend of Court.

A 2012 SIGNIFICANT RULE CHANGE--- Juniors receive a mandatory 3-minute rest period after the second set when a match-tiebreak is played in lieu of the third set. Coaching is permitted, but the player must stay on the court. After the 3-minute rest period, no further coaching is allowed. If needed, a bathroom break can be taken after the 3-minute rest period. If a player takes a bathroom break during the 3-minute rest period, the player waives the right to further coaching. No coaching is allowed during the bathroom break.
