** DOUBLES **
All competitors that have been selected for singles will be eligible for doubles. Please contact the tournament director via e-mail for doubles registration at gordontzawtun@verizon.net. If you wish to play doubles you must sign up with a partner by Thursday January 19th, 2012 at 9:00 PM Pacific standard time. All first round doubles matches will start on Saturday January 21st, at 8:30 AM.The Tournament Director is not responsible to match a player with a partner, but we will do our best to assist you. All doubles matches are an eight game pro set with a tie break at 8-8.
Both players must play in the same age division that they are playing singles in, NO EXCEPTIONS.

** USTA TOURNAMENT FORMAT & RULES **
Rules - USTA rules govern play. ALL MAIN DRAW SINGLES matches in all age divisions of Boys and Girls 14-18's will be best of 3 tiebreak sets. ALL CONSOLATION MATCHES in all age groups Boys and Girls 14-18's as well as ALL MAIN DRAW AND CONSOLATION SINGLES in BOYS AN GIRLS 12's will be best of 3 tiebreak sets with a match tiebreak (10 point) played in lieu of the third set. ALL DOUBLES will be 8-game pro-set with a set tiebreak (7-point) at 8 games all.

** MEDICAL RELEASE WAIVER **
MAKE SURE TO USE THIS FORM - IT WILL SAVE MUCH TIME DURING CHECK IN.
Medical Release Forms have to be FULLY completed and signed by the PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. Parents, please do not send your child without this form completed. Print it now to save time and frustration later. This form has to be completed and signed in order to check in.

** MANDATORY TOURNAMENT CHECK IN **
Mandatory means just that. All the Players must check in on Friday January 20th, at the Palm Valley Country Club between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. However, if you are not able to make it on Friday evening, please inform me by e-mail and fax the USTA & MEDICAL RELEASE FORM in before Friday. Please check in at the tournament site on Saturday morning at least half hour before your first match.

** SPORTS TRAINER **
There will be a certified sports trainer at the Palm Valley Country Club (the main tournament site) during the tournament. By law, trainers are not allowed to distribute any medicine, even to adults. Please bring your own Tylenol, Advil, Sinus Medicine, etc.
If you have an injury or illness, we strongly suggest that you see the trainer. If you need to withdraw due to injury or illness, the process will be much smoother if we have confirmation from the trainer. Without confirmation, you may incur suspension points for withdrawal. Remember you must withdraw in person to the Head Referee.

** STRINGING SERVICES **
There will be Experienced Stringers at all the tournament sites during the event. Cost with your own string is $15. ALL the pro shops at the tournament sites also have a large string inventory if you do not have your own.
|
|
** PRO SHOPS **
ALL the tournament sites, have a Fully Stocked Pro Shop. The Palm Valley Country will have tournament discounts of 35% off regular priced clothing. Shoes, Racquets, Bags and other assesories will be 25% off.
|

** PLAYER SELECTION LIST **
Please check the USTA Junior Competition webpage after 5:00 PM. EST on Monday, December 26th,2011 to check for your selection status. If your name is not on the selection list you are on the ALTERNATE list and that list will be posted after Friday, December 30th,2011.
As you know, if you are entered in more than one event or age division you must inform the tournament committee(s) of all the events or age divisions you entered about the event in which you will compete. We ask that you do this in one (1) e-mail to all the tournament committee(s) of the events you entered. You have until 5:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 (please adjust for your own time zone) to complete your withdrawals. Failure to do so could result in multiple charges on your credit card. Please remember, the TennisLink fee is not refundable under any circumstances. The acceptance lists will be posted by age division on the USTA Junior Competition website.
If your name does not appear on any of the selection lists it means you are an alternate for the event(s) in which you entered. Ordered alternate lists will be available on the tournament's homepage on or after Friday,December 30th, 2011. If you are not selected for any of the event(s) in which you entered you may remain on the alternate list of all the events you entered. When you are selected for an event, you must withdraw from all the other event(s) in which you are an alternate.
