Check-in/Player Meeting & Party
All players must check-in on Saturday, August 4th, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Burns Park Tennis Center Indoor Facility. The mandatory player meeting will be held at 5:30 pm. A player party will follow the meeting with food for players and parents and fun door prizes!

Please check the 'Doubles-Players/Teams that have confirmed' list under Tournament Reports above to verify that players who want to play doubles have been entered into the event and are paired with the correct partner. Please email any corrections, changes or new requests to the tournament director as this list will be updated daily.

Training Sessions
Saturday, August 4th, 2012
Get prepared! And get acclimated to Arkansas - with a hitting session on the courts you'll be playing on! Each 2-hour sessions is supervised by USPTA coaches. You may sign up for more than one session if space is available. These sessions may sell out, so get signed up early! Fees are non-refundable after July 30th. Each player should check in 15 minutes prior to session start time. Show up on time! Late arrivals will be replaced with on-site alternates. To be placed on the session alternate wait list, please arrive at least 15 minutes before sessions begin.

Training Session Fee: $25 per session per player (2 Hours)--Three (3) person minimum
Session Times: 8:30am, 10:30am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm

Private Warm-Up Opportunities
If you are in need of a warm-up for just one player, before or during the tournament, USPTA pros are available for private warm-ups.
Please call Chip Stearns (501-247-9792), Jon McLaughlin (479-283-9356), or Igor Nikitin (501-952-4238) if you are interested.
Prices are $25 for 30 minutes, $40 for 45 minutes, and $50 per hour.

Medical Release Form
Please email (paula.aultz@arktennis.com), fax (501-223-0531), or mail a signed medical release form to the Arkansas Tennis Association office, 2024 Arkansas Valley Drive, Suite 302, Little Rock, AR 72212. You can download the form by selecting "more info" at the end of this message. You will not be allowed on the court without a medical release on file signed by both the player and parent.

Site is Burns Park Tennis Center
The site for all matches is the Burns Park Tennis Center, 4000 Joe Poch Lane, N. Little Rock, AR, 72118, less than a mile from Exit 150 off of I-40. The pro shop phone number is 501-791-8585. You may call the pro shop to check on practice courts, hitting partners, get information on stringing, etc.

Alternates List
An Ordered Alternates List will be posted by 6pm, Tuesday, July 17, 2012, and the date changed with each update. Late entries (with Sectional endorsement) will appear as alternates on the Ordered Alternates List under Tournament Reports.

Little Rock National Airport is the closest airport to the tournament site (12 miles).

Withdrawals
If you are selected and must withdraw from the tournament, please notify us as soon as possible. This will be a help to others waiting to get into the tournament. All withdrawals after the deadline must be made in writing by email, paula.aultz@arktennis.com. Withdrawals after the deadline must include player name, USTA number, a detailed reason for the withdrawal, mailing address, phone number, and a written verification.

LATE ENTRIES--- Late entries will be accepted by email only,

DOUBLES ENTRIES---The online entry process has now been
changed to allow players to register for doubles without a partner.
After the singles entry deadline you may sign up for doubles by
emailing the tournament director, paula.aultz@arktennis.com .
Players are encouraged to sign up for doubles now so that other
players can see who is available for doubles. The deadline to sign
up for doubles and/or to designate a partner will be at the
conclusion of the player meeting on 8/4. Players that have not
designated a partner by the doubles deadline will be paired
randomly. If you do not want to be paired randomly, please do not
sign up for doubles without designating a partner.
For entry, use the USTA Registration System.

Level 1

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected from a variety of National Lists and generally require Section endorsement.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, July 12, 2012 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
