12 and unders
We will be using a green dot ball for the 12's. This is a pilot, there are many states that are playing all 12's with this ball. Either way it will be a ton of fun!!

Format for 12's
We will be playing best of 3 sets, with a super breaker for the 3rd set.

10 & Under Divisions—Singles & Doubles
Beginning January 1, 2011, ALL 10 & Under tournament play in Kentucky (and Southern Section) will use the QuickStart Tennis Play Format. The following are mandatory parameters for all play in 10 & Under tournaments:
- Racket—up to 25 inches in length
- Ball—Orange Low Compression Ball
- Court—60’*21’ for singles, 60’*27’ for doubles
- Scoring—Singles—2 short sets to 4 games. At 4-4, a Set Tiebreak (first to 7, win by 2) is played. In lieu of a 3rd set, a Set Tiebreak (first to 7, win by 2) is played to determine the winner of the match. Doubles—1 set to 6 games. If the score reaches 6-6, a Set Tiebreak is played (first to 7, win by 2)
All 10s tournaments, including the Creason and Southern Closed, will use the parameters listed above. Players should be able to keep score, call their lines, and, ultimately, complete the match without a permanent court monitor.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
