DOUBLES UPDATE
We are still accepting late entries for the Doubles draws. If you are interested in playing Doubles, please email the Tournament Director or come by the tournament desk by Saturday at 1:00 pm.
The Doubles matches will be held either Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.

Draw Size
Each
draw will be limited to 16 players with a Feed in thru Quarterfinals (FICQ);
with a 3/4 playoff match.

Start Time
Play
will be on Saturday and Sunday only for this tournament.

Selection Process
Players will be selected based on the most recent published NC standing
list. Players must have some standing points in order to be considered to
compete in a NC L4 tournament. If
players do not have a standing, they should compete in a NC L5 event. The names of players who have been selected
will appear as "Competitors" after the tournament deadline when
selections are made. Contact us
immediately if you realize that you cannot participate.

PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY
It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know their next match time and show
up in a timely manner. Check the website often for updated match
times. PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ITS
SCHEDULED START TIME. ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS.
This tournament has a lot of matches to be played, at there will be no
exceptions for lateness (i.e. traffic, etc.). It may be a good idea to
review the Friend at Court rulebook for lateness rules.

SEEDING CRITERIA
From USTA/North Carolina Seeding Criteria: "Seeding shall be done by
using only the results from the most recently published USTA/North
Carolina Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which
players appear on the list." Some special criteria may apply. For more

IMPORTANT JUNIOR SUSPENSION NOTES
Please note the rules below pertain to ALL sanctioned North Carolina and Southern tournaments: 11.
"A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When
entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned
tournaments, if any part of the tournament is scheduled to overlap
unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and
concurs in writing." 12. "Player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player's entry is accepted in another tournament."
What if placed on the Alternate List? There are two options: 1.) Stay on the Alternate Lists in hope of getting into the tournament. 2.) Withdraw from the Alternate Lists so you can legally enter another tournament.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, June 5, 2017 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
