PLAYER’S RESPONSIBILITY
* It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know
their next match time and show up in a timely manner * Check website OFTEN for updated match times. * ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS
* All Players should report 30 minutes prior to EACH match through out the
tournament.

8 & Under Event and StartTime
The 8 & under division will be played
Saturday March 5th: START TIME 1:30 PM. Players and parents need to meet at the quickstart courts. Matches will be a Round Robin format
and played on the 36ft courts with Wilson Red Balls. Players are required to
use racquets that are 23in or shorter (all racquets will be measured at
check-in). Serves must go diagonally into the correct box. First serves must be
hit out of the air into the correct service box, second serves can be hit off
of the bounce still into the correct service box. Scoring will be 2 out of 3
games to 7 points, win by 2 points. Players will serve two points each. A
change of ends will occur after each game.

Draw Size
Each draw will be limited to 16 players with an Feed in thru Quarterfinals (FICQ). There will be a 3/4 playoff match for the main draw semifinals losers.

Play will be on Saturday and Sunday only for this tournament.

Selection Process
Players will be selected based on their ranking published on the February 14th NC standing
list. Players must have some standing points in order to be considered to
compete in a NC L4 tournament. If
players do not have a standing, they should compete in a NC L5 event. The names of players who have been selected
will appear as "Competitors" after the tournament deadline when
selections are made. Contact us
immediately if you realize that you cannot participate.

In order to truly enjoy the sport of tennis, it is essential
to display good sportsmanship which includes abiding by the rules,
playing
fair, and showing respect for your opponent. We expect that ALL players who compete this weekend abide by guidelines set forth by "the code". Please

Refund Policy and Withdraws
All withdrawals should be emailed to the
tournament director's email listed above. If selected for the tournament all withdrawals received after the
deadline, are not eligible for a refund. This is NC Tennis Policy.

Directions from anywhere in N.C. to the Cary Tennis Park 2727 Louis Stephens Drive From northwest of Cary to Cary Tennis Park: From Interstate 40 East, take exit #278 on the right. Go 0.2 miles. Turn right onto NC -55 South. Go 7 miles. Turn left onto High House Rd. Go 0.1 Turn Left on Carpenter Upchurch Rd.
Turn right on Louis Stephens Dr. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park.
From south of Cary to Cary Tennis Park: On NC 55, cross US 1 at Apex and continue on NC 55. Go 6 miles. Turn right onto High House Road. Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd. Turn Right onto Louis Stephens Dr. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).
From southeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park: From Interstate 40 West coming into Raleigh, pass exit #301 and bear left onto I-40 West/I-440/Inner Beltline. Go 8 miles. Take exit #293A onto US 64 West / US 1 South (not north) Go 2 miles. Take the exit on the right onto Cary Parkway. Go 5 miles. Turn left onto High House Road. Turn right onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd. What to do. First, contact the CTP TD (e-mail) to remove you from the
alternate list. Players must remove themselves from alternate list first (or player will be subject to suspension points for being signed up for two tournaments on same weekend without approval in writing from both TDs). Then proceed to this link & register for the tournament. The deadline for other event is Monday February 27th at 11:59PM.

*PLEASE READ**
For each event, the top 16 ranked players will
be selected based on the most recent USTA North Carolina standing list. Please
sign up for the age group you wish to play. No late entries will be accepted.

12s-18s Scoring and Format
All 12s-18s singles will be best 2 out of 3 sets
with a match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set.

10s Scoring and Format
The Boy's and Girl's 10s divisions will use the
Wilson Orange Ball, 60 ft courts, and all players must use a racket that is
25in or shorter (all rackets will be measured at check-in). Scoring will be two
out of three sets to 4 games with ads. A 7 point tiebreaker is played at 4-4. A
7 point tiebreaker will be played in lieu of the 3rd set.
