Selection Process
USTA Southern office will provide the Tournament
Director with a Selection List for
the tournament. These are the results
from the most recently publicized USTA Southern Combined Standing List in order
in which the player appears on the list. Each group of 32 players selected from each age group will be divided into two draws of 16 each. We will be using a waterfall system to make sure each of the two draws are balanced by strength. A change to this process is that prior to splitting players using the waterfall system, the players selected from the younger age group will be placed in their proper position based on strength. The 32 players were split as follows: Red 1,4,5,8,9,12,13,16,17,20,21,24,25,28,29,32. Blue 2,3,6,7,10,11,14,15,18,19,22,23,26,27,30,31.
