FUTURES TOURNAMENT RESTRICTION
This tournament is a Futures/NC Level 5 event. Therefore, players ranked too high are ineligible. Please refer to the information below to see each division's restriction:

NOTE: If you are ineligible for one division, you're ineligible to play in any division for Futures tournaments (i.e. If you are ranked 80 or higher in the Girls 12s, you are ineligible for the Girls 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s.)

LIMITED DRAWS AND SELECTION PROCESS
Limited Draws: All divisions will be limited to 16 players each.
Selection Process: The top players applying from the most current USTA/NC standings list will be selected into the draw. Selections will be posted no later than the Tuesday after the deadline at 5:00 pm. The names of players who have been selected will appear as "Competitors."

PARENT AND MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS
The Parent and Medical Release is required by
USTA/NC prior to playing matches. Parent/Guardian must sign. Bring
your signed form with you to registration. This form must be filled out
for each player for every tournament. A link to the form can be found

FORMAT, SCORING, BALLS
The format is First Match Losers Consolation (FMLC). All matches will play a 10-point match tiebreaker instead of a full 3rd set unless noted otherwise.
The 12-and-under divisions will play matches using the WILSON GREEN DOT compression ball. The match format will be the same as the older divisions.
The 10-and-under divisions in this tournament will play matches using the ORANGE compression ball. These divisions will play 2-out-of-3 sets. Each set plays using AD SCORING and goes to 4 games, win by 2, with a 7-point tiebreaker played at 4-all. 10s matches will also play a 7-point tiebreaker instead of a 3rd set. Players in the 10s must use racquets that are no longer than 25 inches.

PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY
It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know their next match time and show
up in a timely manner. Check the website often for updated match times.
PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ITS
SCHEDULED START TIME. ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS. This tournament has a lot of matches to be played, and there will be no exceptions for lateness (i.e. traffic, etc.)

SEEDING
From USTA/North Carolina Seeding Criteria: "Seeding shall be done
using only the results from the most recently published USTA/North
Carolina Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which
players appear on the list." Some special criteria may apply. For more

WITHDRAWALS
If you need to withdraw before "Entries Close," you must do so online.
Click on "Edit Registration," the "Withdraw." You will need your
original confirmation number.
All withdrawals after "Entries
Close" must be sent BOTH in writing via email (to the Tournament
Director's address above) AND by phone to the tournament site.
Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

IMPORTANT JUNIOR SUSPENSION NOTES
Please note the rules below pertain to ALL sanctioned North Carolina and Southern tournaments: 11.
"A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When
entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned
tournaments, if any part of the tournament is scheduled to overlap
unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and
concurs in writing." 12. "Player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player's entry is accepted in another tournament."
What if played on an Alternate List? There are two options: 1.) Stay on the Alternate Lists in hope of getting into the tournament. 2.) Withdraw from the Alternate Lists so you can legally enter another tournament.

ALTERNATES
In the case of any Alternates, the Alternates by Event report will be updated daily. Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot participate.
It
is the Alternate's responsibility to check the website to see if your
alternate status has changed. The tournament will make every effort to
contact you if your status does change providing the correct information
is on your membership profile. Once an Alternate is selected for play,
payment is due immediately.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, February 29, 2016 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
