DRAWS & TIMES WILL BE POSTED AT 12:30 P.M. FRIDAY
The first round match times are going to be posted at 12:30 p.m. The next times in the draws are not posted because of the format for this ONE-DAY EVENT. Once the first match is finished, then after a quick break, the players will go back out on the court for their next match. This is set up to be completed within a three hour window using a compass draw and shortened scoring. With no player withdrawals each child should get 3 matches. If players withdraw then it is not the fault of the tournament staff as to whether or not three matches are played.

MHS
We will use Marietta High School for this tournament in addition to the LPTC.
(MHS) STANDS FOR MARIETTA HIGH SCHOOL. The 18's and the 16's events are played at the high school. Marietta High School is located at 1171 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA. 30064. If you play at Marietta High School do your check-in for your matches at Marietta High School. Do not check in at the (LPTC) Laurel Park Tennis Center. Marietta High School is located very close to Laurel Park. Tiger Woods could get there in 1. :)
Seating is good but not the most comfortable. Bring a chair. Everyone must park up top. Nobody is allowed to park down below. DO NOT DRIVE DOWN TO THE COURTS.

2ND IMPORTANT MESSAGE
We will take 3 more children who can plan in the Boy's 10's division until 12:30 p.m. today. If you know of any players who are 10 and Under and want to play please have them call and pay over the phone as soon as possible to confirm their entry. Otherwise the round robin will remain the type of comp.
Our 14's draws have filled out at this time. Thank you. No further changes will happen with the 14's.
|
IMPORTANT MESSAGE
Not all of the players in the 12's were chosen. If we can get three Boy's 12's who were not chosen for the 12's to move up to the Boy's 14's then we will make another draw. We need the first three to call us at 770-919-8602 and pay over the phone and request to be moved to the 14's and we will fill out and complete a second draw for the 14's rather than conducting a round robin. You must call us before 11:30 am Friday morning in order to be able to get this executed.

DRAWS AND PLAYERS
We can do draws of 8 and no more. In the age groups where we have 16 applicants we can do two separate draws. If you are not chosen based on ranking for one age group and you would still like to compete we could possibly move you to another age group. We will call to ask.
|
FORMAT AND OTHER THINGS
Our goal to to allow for three (3) matches for each player. They will play no more than three matches or they will play no more than the three hour window. If we have an even number of 8 players in a division we will be using a Compass Draw which will allow for three matches for all players. We will hold the competition to last only within a 3 hour window. If we do not have a full amount of entries then we will play a 3 round Round Robin.
If the draws are not full for one time/age slot we may choose to combine and do an event within the 12-3 time slot as the temps are warmer then.
There are no t-shirts or bags with this event. There are trophies for 1st place only.
The scoring will be abbreviated.
