Tournament Refund/Credit Information
The refund/credit amount for the tournament will be $45 (except for those registered in 8u, which will be $12). Those of you in a Cary Tennis Park program will receive a credit on your Town of Cary account. Those of you not in a Cary Tennis Park program will receive a check from the Town of Cary in approximately 3 weeks.
We were able to give full refunds (minus the tennislink fee) as we were able to find a way to reuse our shirts and trophies. Thank you again to everyone for their patience in dealing with the weather.

Waterfall System
Taking cost and school day factors into account, this allows L3 tournaments to be completed in just two days and provides players with the opportunity to earn more ranking points. Draws will be limited to 32 players per age division. Each division that has 24 or more players will be split into two separate draws. Players will then be "waterfalled" into two balanced draws based on the selection lists in the following order: Red: 1,4,5,8,9,12,13,16,17,20,21,24,25,28,29,32. White: 2,3,6,7,10,11,14,15,18,19,22,23,26,27,30,31. Selections will be made using the most up to date NC Standings. Seeds will be determined using NCTA Seeding Criteria after the waterfall is done. The format is FIC (Feed-In Consolation through QF). All matches will play a 10-point match tiebreaker instead of a full 3rd set. There will be a playoff for 3rd and 4th place. Consolation finals will NOT be played out. Both players who reach the finals of consolation will receive the same number of ranking points. Events with 8-23 players will play a regular 32 draw with byes and will play a Feed-In (through Quarterfinals) and there will be a playoff for 3rd and 4th place. Consolation finals will NOT be played out. Both players who reach the finals of consolation will receive the same number of ranking points.

|
Scoring and Format

12U Division
New for 2015 , players will
not be allowed to compete in a North Carolina Level 3 tournament in the 12U
division unless they have accumulated at least 300 ranking points in North
Carolina at the time selections are made. The North Carolina Junior Tournament
Committee put this rule in place to be sure that players are developing
properly in the correct pathway (from 10U Orange). All North Carolina state L4s
and L5s use green ball in the 12s, so the player has to earn their way into a
North Carolina L3 in 12U yellow ball.
