Vouchers for High School Players Competing in First USTA Tournament
The North Carolina Tennis Association is again providing tournament vouchers for current High School and Jr. Team Tennis players in North Carolina. The NCTA Junior Competition Committee and Board of Directors want to provide an incentive for those players in North Carolina to get involved in USTA tournament competition.
The NCTA will pay the entry fee for the first tournament a player enters to introduce them to the fun and camaraderie of tournament tennis. To be eligible, a player must not have played in any sanctioned tournament in the past. Players may use these vouchers in any sanctioned junior FUTURES (L5), L4 (NEW this year) or Adult NTRP (provided they allow junior entries) tournament held in North Carolina this year. Futures tournaments are for less experienced competitive players and will provide good competition for new tournament players. Level 4 tournaments offer more experienced competitive play. NTRP Tournaments provide play against adult players of the same level. Vouchers are good for singles OR doubles.
