All 8 & under players will need to check in by 1:30. Play will begin at 2:00 in a round robin format.

• It is the PLAYER'S responisibility to know their next match time and show up in a timely manner
• Check website often for updated match times.
• PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ITS SCHEDULED START TIME.
• ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS.
• This tournament has a lot of matches to be played, and there will be no exceptions for lateness (i.e. traffic etc.)

PARENT EDUCATION FORUM Required for all 10’s & 12’s playing in Futures tournaments, the 2011 Tar Heel Qualifier, and either of the 2011 North Carolina Junior State Closed Championships. At least one parent or guardian of a child planning to enter the 10’s or the 12’s of any of the above tournaments, must view the education forum prior to the deadline of the tournament in order for the their child to be eligible to play. All 12’s in Futures Tournaments will play with the green low compression ball.

The restriction on 10's in the top ten of NC standings unable TO PLAY "UP" in any division has BEEN LIFTED. 10's are now able to play in the 12's which enables them to transition from the orange ball to the green ball.

1. Any division where play has begun – no refund
2. Any division where no play has begun – a partial refund after deductions for actual expenses.
3. All scores must be reported (incomplete matches included). They would be recorded as ABANDONED matches.
4. If a tournament is unable to complete the tournament within the sanctioned dates, no extensions will be allowed. The tournament will be over. This is because of the points per round system used for ranking.
5. It is at the discretion of the tournament committee if the entire tournament is canceled due to inclement weather.

If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online. Click on edit registration withdrawal. You will need your original confirmation number. All withdrawals after entries close must be made in writing by email to kelly@precisioninstruction.com. more info

All first round matches (no exceptions) must report to the main site Bur-Mil Park Tennis Courts 15 - 30 minutes before their scheduled match time.

8 & under Division
8 & unders will play best of 3 games (1st to 7 points wins game). First to win 2 games is the winner.

10 & under division
Players will play the best of 2 of 3 short sets with a 7 point tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. Individual sets will be the first to win four games with no ad scoring. If a set is tied at 3-3, the next game will win the set. No ad scoring is used.

12s, 14s, 16s, 18s Singles Divisions
Two out of three sets with a 10-point match tiebreak used in lieu of the third set. Ad scoring is used.

12s, 14s, 16s, 18s Doubles Divisions
8 game pro sets (with set tiebreak played at 8 games all) is used for DOUBLES ONLY.
