Match Times
Matches will be scheduled to start no earlier than noon each weekday. We will try to accommodate schedule requests that are made BEFORE THE ENTRY DEADLINE. Players MUST be available to play at 4pm each day.

Clay Courts Do Not Have Lights
Matches may be moved to lighted hard courts due to darkness.

Please Be Aware of the following Rule Change
Out calls reversed. A player who calls a ball out shall reverse the call if the
player becomes uncertain or realizes that the ball was good. The point goes to the
opponent and is not replayed. However, when a receiver reverses a fault call on a
serve that hit the net, the server is entitled to two serves. (from 2011 Friend At Court, The Code p.47 #12)

Matches will be scheduled during school hours.

Check the draw before leaving for the tournament. There may be last minute changes.

The West Side Tennis Club does not accept cash. Please use Visa or MasterCard for all purchases.

Concurrent Tournaments are not allowed! Be very careful when registering! No player may register for more than one Eastern sanctioned tennis tournament where the scheduled dates overlap unless the officially announced tournament starting dates are at least three days apart. Some very limited exceptions apply Please see our website for details.

Junior Ranking Points: A player's best 6 singles results, and 15% of the best 6 doubles results over a rolling 12 month period are counted towards a player's standing. Information on Rankings and Standings can be found here.

USTA point penalty for cheating/being over-ruled by an official more than two times: a) first offense results in a point penalty b) second offense results in a loss of game c) third offense results in a match default

Withdrawals can be done online before registration closes. Go to the tournament home page and click on "Edit Registration" in the blue bar on the lower left.

Contact Information supplied during online registration (an email and 2 phone numbers) is vital. This is how the tournament director can contact you if necessary.

Code Of Conduct: By registering for this tournament you agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations set forth in the USTA Friend at Court, the USTA Standards of Conduct, as well as the USTA Eastern Section's Rules & Regulations. The rules apply to parents & spectators as well; the player is responsible for their entourage. Poor behavior by the spectators may result in point penalties for the players. Poor personal behavior, bad sportsmanship or any acts detrimental to the game could prevent section endorsement. IMPORTANT Parking Information:
Players are invited to park in the lot next to the Stadium on 69th Avenue. Please be sure NOT to park on the private streets surrounding the Club. Cars parked on the private streets will be booted. PLEASE READ THE SIGNS CAREFULLY!!

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, June 6, 2011 1:00:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
